Studi Pendidikan Untuk Meningkatkan Proses Dan Hasil Pembelajaran
Abstract
Education practices that have been taking place in Indonesia are less effective because they still use conventional learning which places more emphasis on teachers as teacher-centered rather than making student learning (student-centered) and the results do not contribute much to improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes student. Based on these problems, Lesson Study becomes an alternative to improve student learning processes and outcomes. The concept and practice of Leasson Study was first carried out by primary education teachers in Japan, which in Japanese is called kenkyu jugyu. Lesson Study is not a strategy or method of learning but is one of the coaching efforts to improve the learning process carried out by a group of teachers collaboratively and report on learning outcomes. Lesson Study is also an activity that can encourage the formation of a learning community that consistently and systematically performs self-improvement, both at the individual and managerial level. In practice, Lesson Study goes through several stages, namely planning (plan), implementation (do), reflection (check) and follow-up (Act).
