Abstract

Education is a basic right for every human being. Usually, each student receives an education that is organized by the government or nongovernment organizations. Education cannot be achieved instantly, but through a long process, from children to parents. Apparently, Islam pays great attention to the problem of children's education. This is evidenced by the revealed Qur'an, Lukman verses 12-19 which contains an invitation to worship Allah Almighty and no partners unto Allah with and the formation of an Islamic child character. Lukman teaches children to become human beings of faith and piety to Allah SWT with its consequences. Child's basic education material that Lukman wants to carry out is to pray, to devote to his parents, amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar (commanding to the good and preventing deeds), patience, simple, being not arrogant and tawadhu.
